Zionist troops, settlers renew attacks in Al-Quds, West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday evening blocked a number of roads in Al-Quds under the pretext of celebrating Jewish holidays.

Local sources reported that the IOF blocked many entrances of neighborhoods in Al-Quds by setting up cement blocks, adding that the blockade will be imposed until tomorrow evening.

Meanwhile, the IOF detained the Palestinian citizen Hanaa’ Tabilah for some hours near a military checkpoint at the northern entrance of the West Bank city of al-Birah, according to local sources.

In another development, Jewish settlers destroyed the barbed wire surrounding the lands of Khillet Al-Nahla in the Khalayel Al-Luz area to the south of Bethlehem, according to the director of the Office of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission in Bethlehem, Hassan Brijiyeh.

Moreover, a group of Jewish settlers threatened a number of Palestinians from Jibril and al-Baden families that they must leave their tents, after storming Taqqu town, southeast of Bethlehem, Tayseer Abu Mufarreh, the director of the municipality of Taqqu said.

Abu Mufarreh added that the settlers had confiscated 300 dunums of Palestinian lands in the area as a prelude to establishing new settlement outposts.

Furthermore, Zionist troops stormed the house of the Palestinian citizen Khaled Abu al-Rub in Jalbun town to the east of Jenin and climbed its roof, according to the head of the Jalboun village council, Ibrahim Abu Al-Rub.
