Naim calls on Arab, Muslim countries to protect Al-Aqsa Mosque
The head of the Hamas Movement’s Department of Politics and Foreign Relations, Basem Naim, has called on the Arab and Muslim countries to assume their responsibility and protect the Al-Aqsa Mosque against the Israeli desecration.
“The repeated Jewish settlers’ incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque provoke the feelings of Muslims all over the world,” Naim said on Tuesday, calling on the international community to stop the Israeli violations against the Mosque.
Naim stressed that the Palestinian people will continue defending their lands and holy sites until there will be no place for the occupation.
Earlier in the morning, dozens of Jewish settlers, protected by Israeli police, stormed the Aqsa Mosque through its Maghariba Gate and performed Talmudic prayers.
Moreover, Jewish settlers performed Talmudic prayers near the Bab al-Rahma prayer area at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
