Two Zionist troops were injured in a car-ramming attack near Hawara town, south of Nablus, on Monday evening.
Israeli media sources said that one of the two soldiers was wounded in his leg, while the other suffered from pelvis injuries. They were both taken to the hospital for treatment.
The perpetrator was able to flee the scene, the sources added.
The Israeli army immediately opened an investigation into the incident, and closed the nearby Za'tara and Hawara checkpoints.
Israeli sources later claimed that a Palestinian driver was arrested for his involvement in the attack.
