Rally in Gaza in solidarity with Al-Quds

In his speech at the rally, Hamas official Mohammad Abu Askr condemned the Israeli attempts to impose spatial and temporal division on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, warning that such attempts aim at imposing a new fait accompli at the Mosque.

“The Israeli occupation is taking advantage of Jewish holidays to wage a religious war against the Al-Aqsa Mosque,” Abu Askr underlined, calling on Jerusalemites to intensify their presence at the Mosque to defend it against the Israeli desecration.

Abu Askr pointed out that normalizing ties with Israel will not grant security to the Arab world, affirming that protecting the Al-Aqsa Mosque is the responsibility of all Muslims.
