Raafat Nassif moved to Megiddo prison solitary confinement

The Israeli Prison Service (IPS) moved the Hamas leader Raafat Nassif from the Negev prison solitary confinement to the Megiddo prison solitary confinement.

Nassif has been isolated and denied family contacts for more than four months in the Negev prison. 

 

He has been held in administrative detention for twelve months without trial or charge.

 

58-year-old Nassif, from the West Bank city of Tulkarem, is married and a father of three children. He spent 21 years in Israeli prisons, mostly in administrative detention.
