Tens of thousands of Muslim worshipers performed Friday prayer in the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Al-Quds.
Local sources said that more than 40,000 Palestinian citizens performed Friday prayer in the holy site amid strict Israeli security measures.
During the Friday sermon, preacher of al-Aqsa Sheikh Ikrima Sabri denounced the statements made by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Israel on the land of Palestine.
The Aqsa preacher warned that all Muslims must bear their responsibilities towards Palestine, Al-Quds and the Aqsa Mosque.
Sheikh Ikrima called on the Israeli occupation authorities to release the bodies of all Palestinian martyrs, the last of whom being Khader Adnan, who died a couple of days ago in Israeli jails after 86 days of hunger strike.
