On the first day of Ramadan:

IOF launches new arrest campaign across West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.

Local sources affirmed that the IOF raided Madama, Beita, and Beit Furik towns, in Nablus, and detained three youths from their family houses.

A violent search campaign was carried out during the raids coinciding with the Suhur time.

Three other youths were detained in similar raids in al-Khalil.

Israel stepped up its military raids, arrests and killings in Palestinian cities and villages in the occupied West Bank on a daily basis in total disregard to the religious holidays.

Meanwhile, the Israeli police forces brutally assaulted a Palestinian man while driving a public bus in Al-Thawri neighborhood in Silwan town in Occupied Al-Quds.

Eyewitnesses affirmed that the Palestinian driver was brutally beaten and sprayed with pepper gas before his arrest.

The driver was later released after being subjected to a police investigation for several hours.

Also in Occupied Al-Quds, the Palestinian young man Mahdi Imad Abu Kaf was summoned for investigation and denied entry into Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.
