Hamas calls for mobilizing all potentials to protect Al-Aqsa

In a press statement on the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's Isra and Mi'raj journey, the Movement hailed the Palestinian freedom fighters in Jerusalem and the West Bank, praising the Palestinian worshippers who have been defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque by intensifying their presence in it.

“The Al-Aqsa Mosque is an exclusive Muslim endowment site,” the Movement affirmed, adding that Israel will never have any legitimacy over any part of it according to all divine laws, UN conventions, and international resolutions.

The Movement underlined that this anniversary reminds the Muslim world that it has a historical responsibility to defend Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque at the political, diplomatic, media, and humanitarian levels, reiterating the importance of supporting the Palestinian people while they defend the holy site against Israel’s repeated crimes. 

“The Palestinian people and resistance will be always united while defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque and will confront the Israeli crimes by all means possible,” the Movement said, warning the Israeli government that the repeated Israeli violations including the Jewish settlers’ raids will be met with more resistance.

The Movement called on Arab leaders to end normalization with Israel, adding that normalizing ties with Israel encourages it to further violate the Palestinian people's rights and holy sites.
