Malaysia hosts international conference on Palestinian prisoners
The international conference on Palestinian prisoners was held on Saturday in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners.
In its speech at the conference, Wa'ed Association for Prisoners extended its thanks to Malaysia for organizing the conference in support of the Palestinian prisoners.
“Palestinian women in Israeli prisons need support as they are repeatedly assaulted,” the association stressed, adding that such a practice violates all international human rights and conventions.
The association mourned the death of prisoner Ahmad Abu Ali who passed away in Israeli prisons due to the Israeli policy of medical neglect, affirming that 235 Palestinian prisoners died after being subjected to the deliberate medical negligence in Israeli prisons.
“Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails are also denied family visits,” the association underlined, calling on the Arab and Muslim nations to act urgently and support the Palestinian prisoners and not leave them alone in their battle.
