IOF attacks fishermen in Gaza waters
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked on Monday morning Palestinian fishermen and their boats off the southern coast of the embattled Gaza Strip, forcing them to return ashore.
Local sources said that Israeli gunboats opened machinegun fire at fishing boats and chased them during their presence within a few nautical miles off the shores of Rafah and Khan Yunis in southern Gaza
No one was reportedly hurt in the shooting attack.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes broke the sound barrier, causing sonic booms over Gaza waters and coastal areas.
In a separate incident, the IOF showered Gazan farmers with tear gas canisters as they were working their lands to the east of Rafah and forced them to leave the area.
