EU action against IRGC
a declaration of war

An expert on political issues told qodsna: : Europe is giving artificial respiration to the lifeless corpse of the unrest in Iran and Europeans are seeking to escape the pressure of the promise of overthrowing the Iranian political system.

Tehran (qodsna)- The European Parliament on January 19 passed a resolution that calls on the European Union to put the IRGC on its terror list and expand its sanctions list to all foundations linked to the Iranian military organization.

Regarding the action of the European Union against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Seyed Reza Sadr al-Hosseini, an expert on foreign policy issues told qodsna describe EU action against IRGC as a declaration of war on the Iranian nation.  

“In fact, the IRGC is a part of the Iranian nation, and the Iranian nation is considered the IRGC as the biggest supporter”, he said.

The senior expert stated that this illegal action of the European Union is actually a kind of declaration of war against the Iranian nation.

“The illegal, illogical and unsubstantiated action of the European Parliament shows that Europe is at war with the Iranian nation and in fact it has called the Iranian nation as terrorists. Of course is not the first time that the European Union has dared to insult the nations, and basically the Europeans have a very bad history in the field of insulting the nations”, he added

Referring to the double behavior of Europeans in dealing with terrorism, he added: In fact, if Europeans did not have a racist attitude and superiority complex, they should have appreciated the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, because IRGC destroyed ISIS which was a direct threat to Europe. In fact, it was the IRGC that saved Europe from terrorist acts and ISIS bombings in its geographical area.

Sadr al-Hosseini raised the basic question of why the Europeans took a non-binding and unnecessary action at this time and added: This action was taken for several reasons. At first, with this action, the Europeans sent a message to the failed factors of the recent unrests, their leaders and influencers in Iran that they are still remained as their supporters and in fact tried to give artificial respiration to the lifeless body of riot in Iran.

“Europe seeks to influence Iran's market and economy through its influential agents in order to somehow create this pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran through economic impulses”, he noted.
