Jewish settlers rebuild illegal settlement outpost in Nablus

A group of Jewish settlers rebuilt an illegal settlement outpost on Jureesh village lands, southeast of Nablus, on Sunday evening.

A few days ago, the settlers tried to place mobile houses in the area before being confronted and expelled by local residents.

Hebrew media sources claimed that the new illegal outpost was "dedicated to the memory of the late rabbi and religious Zionist spiritual leader Haim Drukman."

The outpost, reportedly established by Drukman's grandchild, is located near the Israeli settlement of Migdalim, according to the sources.

Palestinian estimates indicate there are about 650,000 Jewish settlers living in 164 settlements and 116 outposts in the occupied West Bank, including Al-Quds.

International law views both the West Bank and East Al-Quds as occupied territories and considers all Jewish settlement-building activities there illegal.
