Tehran (qodsna)- Today on 17 January 2023 a meeting was held titled as the 11th conference on Gaza symbol resistance with the presence of  the deputy chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Ali Fadavi, secretary general of Iran-based Society for the Defense of Palestinian Nation (SDPN) Hojat-ol-Islam Rahimian, and a number of activists.

The meeting was held on the occasion of the victory of resistance movement groups against the 22 day war with Israeli aggression and commemoration of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani martyrdom, the global hero of resistance.

The Society for the Defense of Palestinian Nation organized the event in cooperation with Qods news agency.

Addressing at the 11th conference on “Gaza symbol of resistance” which held on Tuesday in Tehran, Brigadier General Ali Fadavi, IRGC deputy commander-in-chief said: The beginning of the Islamic movement coincides with the speech of the Imam Khomeini in connection with the issue of Palestine, which has been the first issue of the Islamic Revolution since then until now. As long as the Imam was alive, the issue of Palestine was his first issue, and for almost 34 years now, the supreme leader of the revolution has considered Palestine as the first issue.

Both the leader of the revolution and the Iran’s Revolutionary Guards working to fulfill the Imam's request in the field of supporting Palestine, he added.

Imam Khomeini said that the West Bank should stand up and today two-thirds of the army of the Zionist regime is stuck in the West Bank. It is not only Palestinian historical groups that operate there. Each and every Palestinian feels duty and operates against occupiers, IRGC deputy commander added.

Definitely, this fake Zionist regime will be destroyed, he said, adding that very soon we will witness the destruction of the Zionist regime.

“Zionists are taking actions under the leadership of the United States, but soon the great Satan will also be destroyed”.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is proud to work hard for the main issue of Islam, which the imams have declared for nearly 60 years.

In these days, we are preparing to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution on 22 Bahman (which is the 11th month in the Iranian calendar, equivalent to 11 February 1979). This year, because of the hostility of enemies, Iranian people will make a unique Bahmani 22 rally.

Israel on the verge of it’s third defeat

Zionist usurping regime could not resist the Islamic Jihad group even for three days and humiliatingly sought a ceasefire. Today, the balance of power has changed in favor of resistance.

Pointed to some verses of the Qur'an regarding the importance of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the land of Palestine, Secretary General of the Iran-based Society in Defense of Palestinian Nation (SDPN) Hojat-ol-Islam Rahimian said “Al-Aqsa Mosque has privileges compared to the rest of the world. Perhaps one aspect of the importance of Palestine is because of the multitude of prophets in this land”.

Rahimian made the remarks at the 11th conference on Gaza symbol of resistance which held on 17 January 2023 in Tehran.

Al-Aqsa Mosque has been introduced as a place of the ascension of the Prophet of Islam, and this land has outstanding features, he added.

The holy land of Palestine has been affected by Zionists and the Jewish movement in the current century, he added.

In his 25-page message, the former Prime Minister of Israel acknowledged the collapse of Israel and said that the Jewish state has collapsed twice in the 80s and now we are on the verge of 75 years and at risk of collapse for the third time due to internal crises and other aspects, Rahimian noted.

Referring to the change in the balance of power in favor of the resistance, he said that compared to the 1967 war, when Israel was able to disable the war machine of Egypt and Syria in about two hours. Pointing to the recent plots of the enemy against the Islamic Republic of Iran, he said that those who use this rotten rope to create sedition and unrest in Iran, their efforts will fail. They feel certain defeat against the flow of resistance, so they have no choice but to plot against the resistance because they are falling.

The crude idea of attacking the Islamic system of Iran will not succeed, he added. 

The secretary general of SDPN went on to say that "We are confident that the path of martyrs of the resistance will continue and the promise of the Imam Khomeini and the supreme leader of the revolution will, fulfill that in the near future we will witness the destruction of Israel and the decline of the American superpower and other colonialist criminals.

With its barbaric actions, Israel pushes the Palestinians to more resistance

Referring to the increasing power of the resistance axis, Nasser Abu Sharif, representative of Palestinian Islamic Jihad envoy said at this conference that in the future, we will see the unity of the resistance axis under the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Pointing to the Israel's successive defeats in Gaza and Lebanon, he said that in all these wars, America has always supported Israel comprehensively, but despite this, the resistance has won.

While the public opinion previously thought that there was democracy in Israel, now the public opinion of the world has now realized that Israel is a cruel and barbaric regime, Islamic Jihad envoy noted.
