Hamas calls for confronting settlers’ raids into Al-Aqsa Mosque

Spokesman of Hamas for Occupied Jerusalem, Muhammad Hamadeh, on Thursday called on Palestinians to mobilize against the Israeli plans to launch massive raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

“Storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the pretext of celebrating the holiday of Hanukkah constitutes a provocation to the feelings of Muslims,” spokesman Hamadeh stressed, calling on the Palestinians to intensify their presence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and confront the settlers' raids by all means possible.

Hamadeh held Israel responsible for the repeated violations and plots at the holy site, noting that the Palestinian youths are ready to protect Al-Aqsa against the Israeli desecration.

He condemned the Israeli plan of constructing 1,400 new settlement units in Occupied Al-Quds in place of demolished Palestinian houses, affirming that the Palestinian people and resistance will not stand idle by while Israel intensifies its Judaization plans in Al-Quds.

The Jewish temple mount groups have been planning to launch massive raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the 18th of December to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah which is set to continue for eight days.
