Sheikh Sabri urges Palestinians to frequent Aqsa Mosque

Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, Aqsa Mosque preacher and head of the Higher Islamic Council in Al-Quds, has called on the Palestinian masses to continue visiting the Aqsa Mosque to defend it against settler break-ins and Judaization schemes.

In press remarks on Thursday, Sheikh Sabri called on every Palestinian to strive to reach the Aqsa Mosque, affirming that the intensive presence of Muslim worshipers at the Mosque all the time is important to protect it.

He described the exposure of the Aqsa Mosque to daily desecration by Jewish settlers as a “continuation of the occupation state’s renewed old aggression against the Islamic holy sites,” stressing that the Palestinian people have an inalienable and legitimate right to the Aqsa Mosque.

The Al-Quds official expressed his confidence that all the Israeli attempts to Judaize the Aqsa Mosque would be doomed to failure.

In a related context, Palestinian activists called for performing the Fajr and Friday prayers at the Aqsa Mosque tomorrow.

They stressed that the intensive presence of Muslim worshipers in the holy city and at the Aqsa Mosque is important to defend them against the occupation state’s growing violations and its settlers’ provocative practices.
