Large-scale arrest campaign throughout West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign throughout the West Bank and Al-Quds at dawn Tuesday.

Seven Palestinians were detained in Occupied Al-Quds, including a brother and sister.

 

Three more arrests were carried out in Ramallah, while a Palestinian was rounded up in Jenin.

 

Local sources reported that IOF troops violently stormed Rumana village, in Jenin, and raided and searched several local houses and seized surveillance cameras

 

The houses' owners were also investigated during the raids which led to the outbreak of violent clashes, the sources added.

 

Another young man was detained in al-Khalil, while several checkpoints were erected at the entrances to the surrounding towns, restricting the people's movement.

 

Earlier Monday evening, two Palestinian youths were detained near Sha'er Binyamin illegal settlement, south of Ramallah.

 

In Nablus, two young men were stopped and arrested at the Beit Furik military checkpoint while a third was detained while picking olives in Qaryut village.
