Hamas commemorates 49th anniversary of October war victory

In a press statement on the 49th anniversary of October war victory against Israel, the Movement affirmed that promoting joint action in support of the Palestinian people and resistance with all means possible is the only way to liberation and return.

“On this anniversary, Arab nations are reminded of their steadfastness and resistance against the Zionist occupation,” the Movement underlined, adding that the anniversary comes as a warning of the serious repercussions of the attempts to integrate the usurping entity into the region, which poses a real danger to the region’s security, stability and resources.

The Movement saluted the heroic victory of Egyptian and Syrian forces in the 1973 war, mourning the death of the soldiers who were martyred during the war.

It added that those martyrs have paved the way to victory and proved that resistance is the quickest way to defeat Israel and liberate occupied Palestine and the occupied Arab lands.
