Shelter statistics of the escalations in Gaza-infographic
Out of 13,788 housing units totally destroyed since 2014, around 2,200 units are yet to be funded for reconstruction, including at least 1,000 vulnerable families still internally displaced since May 2021, and in urgent need for Transitional Shelter support.
Additionally, 72,600 out of the partially damaged housing units had not received any repair assistance until now, leaving thousands of households unprotected and living in critical shelter conditions.
