About 30 resistance operations in the West Bank within 48 hours

The West Bank witnessed 30 resistance operations targeting the Zionists' occupation and settlers in different areas, during the last 48 hours.

Resistance fighters carried out three shooting attacks at the occupation forces in Al-Quds Street, Balata refugee camp in Nablus, and Al-Jalama checkpoint in Jenin, Palestine Today website reported. 

 

The Palestinian youth also threw Molotov cocktails at the occupation forces at the Al-Alimi roundabout in Tulkarm.

 

A female settler was injured after her car was targeted with stones at the "Movo Dotan" checkpoint, which is built on Palestinian lands south of Jenin.

 

In the town of Hizma, northeast of Al-Quds, citizens confronted the settlers and threw stones at their vehicles.

 

The Palestinian youth also confronted the settlers and targeted their vehicles with stones near the "Yitzhar" settlement, south of Nablus.

 

Clashes erupted and stones were thrown at 23 points in the West Bank, including Al-Quds, Nablus, Jenin, Qalqilya, Bethlehem and Al-khalil.

 

Since the beginning of this year 2022, the West Bank has witnessed more than 6,400 acts of resistance.

 

Last January recorded 623 acts of resistance, including 28 shooting attacks, while these operations increased significantly in February and reached 835 acts of resistance, including 52 shooting attacks.

 

In March, the Palestinian resistance carried out about 821 resistance’s operations, including 52 shooting attacks, and in April about 1,510 resistance actions, including 76 shooting attacks.

 

The resistance operations continued during the past three months, and recorded 1,358 acts of resistance, including 57 shootings in May, 649 operations of resistance, including 31 shootings in June, 588 resistance acts and 44 shootings in July.

 

The month of August recorded a noticeable increase in shootings, which amounted to 33 shootings in the middle.
