Imam Khomeini, founder of multidimensional
war against Zionist regime

Hossein Kanani Moghaddam

Tehran (Qodsna) - On the eve of the anniversary departure of Imam Khomeini, the great founder of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Hossein Kanani Moghaddam, an expert on International affairs, Hossein Kanani Moghaddam talked about Imam Khomeini’s international doctrines, saying that “Imam Khomeini's doctrine of the liberation of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the destruction of the Zionist regime can be examined in several dimensions.”

“The first dimension is the Islamic nature of the Palestinian liberation movement. The choice of International Quds Day on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan was because he believed that the only ideology that could liberate Palestine was to rely on the Islamic nature of the movement,” Kanani Moghaddam said.

“The second dimension is the popularness of the Palestinian liberation movement. Imam Khomeini believed that the liberation of Palestine requires the formation of a global social movement and in addition to the Palestinian people, all free and liberation-seeking people in the world must join it and stand against the occupation and crimes of the Zionist regime,” he added.

The Iranian political expert went on to say that the next dimension is that the Palestinian issue is a global matter. “The issue of the holy city of al-Quds is not just an Arab-Palestinian issue.”

“This aspect caused an anti-Israeli viewpoint in the world public opinion,” Hossein Kanani Moghaddam stressed.

“If we look at these dimensions together, we see that Imam Khomeini designed a multidimensional against the Zionist regime, which has involved Israel in different fronts,” he added.

“Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of Iran, in continuation of this doctrine, proposed a roadmap, which is called a plan to determine political destiny of Palestine through a referendum,” Hossein Kanani Moghaddam underlined.

“According to this plan, the future of the land of Palestine will be determined by the main inhabitants of Palestine through a referendum. The plan was registered with the United Nations two years ago,” he said.
