Quds Day impacts on fight
between resistance groups and Zionist regime

Tehran (Qodsna) - “The designation of Quds Day is undoubtedly one of the most important and enduring legacies of Imam Khomeini,” the Arab figure stressed.
 

On the eve of the International Quds Day, Qods News Agency intends to use the expert opinions of personalities and political analysts to better explain one of the most important initiatives of the great founder of the Islamic Revolution, an issue whose importance is increasingly understood every year.

In an exclusive interview with Qods News Agency, Abdul Khaliq Farooq, a former director of the Nile Center for Economic and Strategic Studies talked about the importance of the International Quds Day, saying that “Quds Day is important because it unites the Muslim people of the Middle East and even the people of the world to confront the rebellious, arrogant and racist regimes like the Zionist regime in occupied Palestine.”

“Unfortunately, the situation of some Arab regimes in the region has changed over the last 50 years, preferring to compromise and extend a hand of friendship to the occupiers in order to secure their own interests and their throne,” he added, referring to the normalization deals between some Arab regimes and Israel.

“The designation of Quds Day is undoubtedly one of the most important and enduring legacies of Imam Khomeini,” the Arab figure stressed.

Talking about the progress of the Palestinian resistance groups in terms of military power, Abdul Khaliq Farooq said that “for years, we have witnessed their developments in  missile and defense capabilities and the military resistance of Palestinian forces, both inside and outside the Gaza Strip. These forces have expanded and gained power not only in occupied Palestine but in all parts of the region.”

“At such a time when the Arab regimes are containing the Palestinian resistance; Quds Day can be determinative in the outcome of the confrontation between the resistance groups and Israel and it would prevent the Zionists from advancing,” he added.
