Difference of this
year’s Quds Day

Hossein Royvaran

Tehran (Qodsna)- Internationals Al-Quds Day set to celebrated this year at a time when many equations have changed in favor of the cause of the liberation of Palestine and the Zionist regime feels more than ever that its’ fake existence is in danger of collapsing.

Hossein Royvaran, a Middle East expert wrote in an exclusively note for Qodsna: Today, consensus among the Palestinian community on resistance as the only way to liberate Palestine is more than ever. With the signing of the Oslo Accords by the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in 1993 and the change of its leadership from armed resistance to political dialogue to resolve the crisis, Palestinian society became divided. The failure of the reconciliation process in the past 28 years and the Zionist regime’s settlement expansion in the West Bank has led the people to the conclusion that this solution does not work, and now the overwhelming majority of the people support the resistance strategy, which is the only way to end the occupation.

The recent Palestinian operations in Beersheba, Bani Brock and Tel Aviv and the participation of individuals from inside the 1948 Occupied Territories and the West Bank, show that the belief in resistance is growing among the Palestinian people.

This event sends important messages:

1-The attacks took place before and after the Negev Summit, when the Foreign Ministers of Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Morocco met with their Zionist and American counterparts in the Negev Desert in occupied southern Palestine and declared their alliance against Iran and the Axis of Resistance. The coincident of the attacks and holding this summit showed that the Palestinian resistance wants to strike at the mouths of the Arab traitors to Palestine and clearly show the real enemy that they must acted against the regime. The purpose of the summit was to show Iran and its nuclear knowledge as the biggest threat to the security of the region, but the Palestinian fighters introduced the real enemy with this successive operation, which must be fought against it.

2- The hero of the operation around Tel Aviv is Zia Hamarsheh, one of the fighters of the Fatah movement, led by Mahmoud Abbas, and this Palestinian political party officially denies the armed struggle.

The action of this Palestinian fighter showed that resistance is the only solution to end the occupation of Palestine, and this belief is spreading even among the so-called secular organizations.

3- The last three operations were not carried out geographically in the West Bank, but in the occupied territories of 1948, where the Zionist regime declared its usurping existence and the security situation is very strong. Carrying out operations in such a geographical environment shows that the hand of resistance is open throughout occupied Palestine and is able to achieve any goal anywhere in this occupied land.

4- A very important point in this operation is that the two operations in and around Haifa were carried out by Palestinians who grew up in Umm al-Fahm and are practically citizens of this regime. They have better social and economic conditions, and this shows that the main issue of the Palestinian people is not individual, social and livelihood rights, but the existence and identity is the main issue.

 5. Some of the martyrdom seekers of the recent operations are people who have previously been detained in the Zionist regime’s prisons. This fact shows that the policies of repression, imprisonment, and torture of the Zionist regime can’t break the will of the Palestinian Mujahideen.

6. The three recent jihadist operations have shown that the fourteen million members of the Palestinian community now have a common goal, which is to liberate the Occupied Palestinian Territories. It is true that more than half of Palestinian community lives in exile outside the Palestinian territories, and the people of Gaza are under siege and the people of the West Bank are under occupation and the Palestinians of the 1948 occupied territories are under the racism and apartheid, but all of them are united in achieving their goals that is liberation of their lands.

7- The Zionist regime’s security sources believe that this year will face more security challenges during the holy month of Ramadan. Usually, the feelings of identity of Palestinian Muslims rise during the holy month of Ramadan and culminate on the International Day of Quds. Participating in Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque becomes a religious and political duty for almost all Palestinians and these conditions tend to It increases jihad and confrontation with the occupying regime.
