Hamas chief congratulates Pakistani PM on National Day

"As we, in Hamas, along with the Palestinian people share our joy with you on this glorious occasion, we highlight Pakistan's unique accomplishments and successful achievements in all fields," Haniyeh said in a letter addressed to the Pakistani PM.

Haniyeh also expressed his appreciation of Pakistan's honourable stances in support of Palestinian rights and the Palestinian cause, hoping that the Islamic republic continues to support the Palestinian people until liberating their land and establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital. 

Hailing the close relationship between the Pakistani and Palestinian people, the top Hamas official wished Pakistan a future of progress and prosperity.
