Edinburgh City Council to formally discuss twinning with Gaza on 29 March
Edinburgh City Council formally announced on 23 March that it will discuss a petition calling for the twinning of Gaza with Edinburgh.
The discussion will take place at 10:00am on 29 March
The council has also published additional details as a supplement to the upcoming discussion on the twinning.
A rally coinciding with the council meeting on 23 March was held outside the City Chambers on Edinburgh’s High Street. During the rally, the twinning petition author Pete Gregson explaining why the petition was launched.
