Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied al-Quds, amid strict Israeli measures at its gates since the morning hours, reported by ABNA.

Since the early morning hours, citizens gathered at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, passing through its gates amid large presence by Israeli police forces.

However, many West Bank worshipers were denied access to the holy site after Israeli occupation police forces checked their identity cards at the entrances to the Mosque.

A female worshiper was violently attacked when she tried to film the Israeli restrictions.

Earlier today, hundreds of Palestinians managed to perform Dawn (Fajr) prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the Israeli restrictions on Palestinian access to the site.

Citizens in a bus from Kafr Qassem town were blocked from heading to Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Two young men were also arrested near Bab al-Amoud, one of al-Aqsa gates.

Meanwhile, a large number of Palestinians performed Friday prayer at Jabal Mukaber Stadium in Occupied al-Quds to protest the escalating Israeli demolition policy in the holy city.

During the Friday sermon, the preacher stressed that defending the homeland against any aggression is a religious obligation.

The Almighty has legislated jihad in defense of the homeland, money, family and homes, he added.

More than 130 Palestinian facilities are threatened with demolition in Jabal Mukaber neighborhood.

Israeli authorities regularly carry out demolitions of Palestinian-owned homes and businesses in the occupied West Bank and al-Quds, under the pretext that they were built without permits.
