We will join West in sanctions against Russia

Tehran (Qodsna) - Nachman Shai, a former member of the Israeli Knesset and Israeli Diaspora Minister, said Tel Aviv was trying to avoid taking pro-Western positions on sanctions against Russia, but might join the West.

"Israel may join Western sanctions against Russia, although it is trying to prevent such a situation," Shai told the Hebrew radio station Kan.

"Israel's allegiance is primarily to the United States," he said, adding: "We will try to avoid reaching this point, but we will join our closest ally."

"If a war breaks out between Russia and Ukraine, it is natural that Israel, despite its desire to have good relations with Russia, supports its longstanding ally, the United States," said Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid in an interview with Channel 12 television about the Israeli position on a possible Russia-Ukraine war.

The Zionist regime has always defined its survival in solidarity with the colonial powers. Basically, given the founding goals of Israel that have always been obvious in the speeches of Western leaders, especially American leaders, such as the remarks that Joe Biden emphasized during his tenure that even if Israel did not exist, the United States should have created it. Israel, a regime aligned with the interests of the Western powers, has always defined itself alongside the West in the event of a conflict between the West and other world powers.

It is important to note that the extent of Israel's loyalty to the world is a function of its relationship with the West and, above all, with the United States. In fact, trusting to Israel and cooperating with this regime is a big mistake. Although the former Soviet Union, Russia and many of the formed countries after the collapse of the former Soviet Union have always supported Israel in some way, the story of Ukraine has shown how wrong it is to support this regime and governments must choose to reconsider their strategic mistake.
