SDPN issues statement on anniversary of Qasem Soleimani's martyrdom

Tehran (Qodsna) - On the occasion of the second anniversary of the martyrdom of the great commander of the resistance, Martyr Qassem Soleimani, and the National Day of Resistance, Iran's Society for the Defense of the Palestinian Nation (SDPN) issued a statement commemorating the memory of this great and dear martyr.

“The 3rd of January has been named the National Day of Resistance due to the bravery and great sacrifice of the commander of the resistance. This day has forever immortalized the history of the name of Martyr Qasem Soleimani in the history of Iran,” the statement read.

“The day when the beloved of the nation and the leadership achieved his forty-year-old dream and the clothes of martyrdom rose on his stature,” it added.

The SDPN also described Martyr Qassem Soleimani as the “Soldier of Patriot and Islam" in its statement.

“Martyr Qasem Soleimani was the founder of the culture of resistance in the region, a culture that has portrayed the elimination of Israel and hegemonic powers in the region. Accordingly, the memory of Qasem Soleimani is present in every moment of resistance against Zionism.”

“With the martyrdom of the great commanders of the resistance, not only has the anti-arrogance and anti-Zionist resistance not been weakened, but it pursues its founding goals stronger and more active than before everywhere, including Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen,” the statement noted.
