Int'l conference on "Countering the Normalization of Educational Relations with the Zionist Regime" held in Beirut

Tehran (Qodsna) - The Lebanese Center for Educational Research and Studies, in collaboration with the Arab Teachers Association, held a conference in Beirut on Wednesday entitled "Countering the Normalization of Educational Relations with the Zionist Regime."

During the conference, strategies and methods to deal with the normalization of academic ties with the occupying regime in Jerusalem were discussed, and some solutions to counter the process of recognizing the Zionist regime were offered by participants.

Criticizing any effort to normalize political, economic and cultural relations with the Zionist regime, Lebanese Minister of Culture Mohammad Wassam Morteza said: "The real normalization that the region needs is only through the destruction of Israel and the liberation of the Palestinian territorie." Violated rights are realized.

The Lebanese Minister of Culture stressed that confronting the process of normalization of relations with Israel should not be limited to condemning this process, but requires taking practical steps to neutralize this process.
