Gaza is bulwark of Palestinians
against Zionist regime

Claudio Moffa

Tehran (Qodsna) - In an exclusive interview with Qods News Agency, Italian professor and historian Claudio Moffa talked about recent political developments in the Zionist regime, including the new Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennet, stressing that being optimistic towards the new Israeli government is “risky.”

“It is true that, after 14 years of reign, and after 4 general elections, Netanyahu is gone. But for now, even with Bennet, optimism is risky,” he said.

Prof. Moffa, who is specialized in History of International Relations, added that “as for Netanyahu, the real problem for Bennet remains Gaza, because Gaza is the bulwark of the Arabs of Palestine invaded in 1948, against a state created by full-fledged foreigners, not indigenous Jews but European invaders of Jewish origin.”

He also talked about the Nakba day which resulted in the catastrophe suffered by the Palestinians,  the destruction of villages, massacres of innocents, mass escapes from a land they had inhabited for centuries.

The Italian figure referred to Israel’s atrocities and crimes against Palestinians, noting that  these are “insanities that no normal person could share. Insanity rooted deep in Israel's history.”

He then warned about the future of Al-Quds asserting that the new Israeli government would continue hostile policies in the holy city.

The professor of the University of Teramo then talked about Biden government and its unwavering support for the Zionist regime, underlining that “there are elements that always push the US and its Presidents to support the Jewish state, even when it violates International Law and Human Rights.”

“There are three factors: first, the number of Jews in the United States, which once a journalist from Le monde diplomatique, Serge Halimi, represented "a State within a State" in the USA. Second, the media, the big press and television channels often owned by Zionist Jews, and occupied by pro-Israeli journalists. And finally, as if this were not enough, there is the usual problem of the Israel Lobby,” he further explained.
