Over 35,000 Palestinian worshipers perform Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa
Thousands of Muslim worshipers performed Friday prayer in the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid strict Israeli security measures at its gates.
The Department of Islamic Endowments in al-Quds reported that 35,000 citizens performed Friday prayer in Al-Aqsa courtyards.
The Israeli police were deployed at checkpoints at the entrances to Al-Aqsa and the Old City and checked the ID cards of the Palestinians.
The occupation police arrested a young boy while he was leaving Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the pretext of raising the Palestinian flag.
