The speech of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on the occasion of International Quds Day has been reflected in Palestinian media outlets and received widespread media coverage.

Speaking in a live TV speech on International Quds Day, an annual event that takes place last Friday of holy month of Ramadan, , Supreme Iranian Leader Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei said that Israel is not a country, but a terrorist base against the nation of Palestine and other Muslim nations.

He added: "The fight against this despotic regime is the fight against oppression and the fight against terrorism. This is a public duty to fight against this regime."
