Israel, global economy main losers
of future naval warfare

Hossein Ruivaran

The recent news about an explosion in the Iranian Saviz ship in the Red Sea was not a normal incident and it was done due to certain political and military goals, and for sure, it would have some consequences. It seems that one side is trying to age a regional war, especially in maritime and oil flow spheres.

While the main actor of the recent incident is undoubtedly the Zionist regime, the regime is going to pose a growing security vulnerability in the seas.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is considered a maritime power in the region. Iran has a maritime presence in the Bab al-Mandab Strait, the Red Sea, and the Indian Ocean, and no other country in the region has similar or equal capabilities to the Iranian Navy.

The other significant point is that the Zionist regime has faced the resistance axis on different fronts and it has been proven that Israel has lost its military superiority over time. Previously, during the war between Arab states and Israel, Zionists had the upper hand and they were capable of operating different attacks against regional countries. However, things have changed now, and the Hezbollah movement has achieved a deterring power against Israel. This means that Israel is concern about any future war with Hezbollah.

The same situation exists in maritime, and any future conflicts in seas would bring another fiasco to the Zionist regime. The major part of Israel’s maritime trade is being done through the Red Sea, and Israeli ships have to pass through this sea line, and as it appears, any naval warfare would have a tough response by Iran.

It is widely argued that the Zionist regime caused an explosion in the Saviz ship due to political matters. According to this viewpoint, Netanyahu has ordered the incident to reduce inner pressures because of the domestic political crisis.

The ongoing nuclear talks between Iran and western powers have concerned Israel at the same time, and it certainly tries to escalate the regional tensions to send some messages to the West.

It should be noted that naval warfare highly affects the global economy, and the Zionist regime is vulnerable in this regard, therefore, escalation see tensions would hurt Israel and it would create security and economic threats for Israel.
