UNSC to discuss PA Abbas's initiative on a peace conference

Palestine's Permanent Observer to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour told official Voice of Palestine radio that the mission of the State of Palestine to the UN has been reaching out to the members of the UNSC regarding Tuesday's session, which will discuss the developments in the international, regional and Palestinian arenas, as well as the developments concerning the new US administration.

He said the session will discuss PA Mahmoud Abbas's initiative for joint international action leading to an international peace conference, as well as the efforts made with the International Quartet to revive its role.
