Palestinian captive dies after 14 years in Zionist regime’s jail

A Palestinian captive held in Zionist regime’s jails and a father of six children died of yet unclear circumstances.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society, and the Prisoners and Executives Affairs Authority in a joint statement, on Wednesday, announced the death of a Palestinian captive Maher Dhib Sa`sa in Zionist regime’s jail.

Sa`sa, 45, died Wednesday in Zionist regime’s prison, after spending years incarcerated and suffering from chronic illnesses, however no clear cause of death was identified.

Sa’sa, a husband and father of six children, from Qalqilia in the northern West Bank, was abducted in 2006 and was serving a 25 year sentence in Zionist regime’s jail.

The prison advocacy groups stated that they will follow up regarding the cause of death of the captive, and that they hold the Zionist regime’s occupation responsible for the lives of all the Palestinian captives.
