New power born in IRGC: Gen. Hajizadeh

The commander of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said that with the new missile capabilities, drone operations, and artificial intelligence technology combined, a new power was born in the force.

Brigadier General Amirali Hajizadeh said on the sidelines of the first step of 'Great Prophet-15' drills on Friday that the very step was considered as the simulation of assault on the enemy's points of strength and fortitude, which included the implementation of a combined operation of missiles and drones.

"At this stage of the exercise, the defense parts of the hypothetical enemy base were attacked with drone systems, and moments later, the missiles fired destroyed different parts of the enemy," General Hajizadeh said.

He described the tactics used in the 'Great Prophet-15' exercise as the result of experiences gained out of operations and exercises during the past years and noted that with the use of a new generation of missiles and assault drones, a new capability has been created in the defense power of the country.

Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC)'s first stage of 'Great Prophet- 15' drills codenamed 'Ya Fatema al-Zahra' was started on Friday with mass launching of ground-to-ground ballistic missiles and assault-drones' operations.

The drills was conducted with the joint operation of IRGC's Ground Force and Aerospace Force.
