"Iran is an independent and international country in the region, Saadeh said, adding “This country has the right to respond to any foreign aggression to its borders."

Now that neither the United Nations nor the UN Security Council has the power or will to stand up against arbitrary steps by the United States in different parts of the world, Iran has the right to follow up and respond appropriately as it planned, she noted.
