Iran’s achievements in advanced
sciences a threat to Zionist regime

Tehran – Speaking with Qods News Agency about the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, Iran’s top nuclear scientist on Friday, the former member of the People's Council of Syria, Maria Saadeh said that the attack was “an act of terror and it was criminal”.

 

She described Fakhrizadeh as one of the most prominent individuals in Iran’s science and technology who has led the nuclear industry in Iran over the past years.

 

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, Head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense was assassinated in a terrorist operation on Friday in Absard, Damavand County, near Tehran.

 

Saadeh then stressed that the terrorist attack was a disrespect to the value of science and scientists.

 

She called the attack the continuation of the policy of targeting elites of the resistance movement to prevent further progress.

 

Talking about the role of the Zionist regime and the United States in conducting the assassination, she added: “Zionists and American politicians plan to dominant all countries by such terrorist measures to take away countries’ independence. They are concern about Iran’s achievements in advanced sciences because they consider it as a threat.”
