Three Palestinian political captives complete 18 years behind Israeli bars

Three Palestinian political captives in Zionist regime's jails complete today 18 years behind bars, said the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS).

Abdullah Naji Barghish, from Jenin refugee camp in the north of the West Bank; Mansour Shreim, from the West Bank city of Tulkarm; and Saleh Qenni, from Nablus, all begin today their 19th year behind Zionist regime's prison bars for resisting the Zionist regime's occupation of their homeland.

Barghish is sentenced to 23 years in prison, Shreim to 14 life sentences and an additional 50 years, and Qenni to one life sentence.

Like many Palestinian captives in Zionist regime's jails, the three detainees have been denied family visitation several times by the Zionist regime's occupation authorities as a punishment against him and his entire family.

The Zionist regime's occupation authorities are still incarcerating more than 5,000 Palestinian and Arab prisoners for resisting its occupation of their homeland. Many of these prisoners have been in prison for more than 25 years.
