PA condemns Pompeo’s statements

Palestinian Authority chief spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh rejected statements made by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo that US nationals born in Jerusalem (Al-Quds) can have their place of birth listed as "Israel" on their passports.

The spokesman said that Al-Quds is occupied land, rejecting and slamming Pompeo’s statements as a flagrant violation of international laws and legitimacy, stating.

He reiterated that Al-Quds and its Islamic and Christian holy sites are a red line and the essence of security and stability on the entire region.
