Tehran (Qodsna) - On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, representative of Hamas movement in Iran, Khaled Ghodomi said in an exclusive interview with Qodsna that martyr Fathi Shaqaqi was able to protect Islamic and national principles of Islamic Jihad Movement against deviations that other Palestinian groups have faced.

Congregating for the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, Ghodomi stressed that the movement was active in defending the Palestinian cause even before its formal launch.

At the beginning of the formation of the Islamic Jihad Movement, martyr Fathi Shaqaqi defended the Islamic and national principles of the movement, preventing any deviation from resistance, and this is one of the achievements of the Islamic Jihad Movement over the past years.

“Islamic Jihad Movement didn’t recognize the existence of the Zionist regime as well as two-states solution at the beginning, and now it is opposing the recent normalization agreements of Arab traitors with this regime,” he added.

He noted that these are factors that put the Islamic Jihad Movement at the forefront of important and national Palestinian cases.

Ghodomi then described martyr Fathi Shaqaqi as one of the most prominent leaders of the Islamic Jihad Movement.

“Martyr Fathi Shaqaqi connected the mind of the younger generation in Palestine with Islamic values to promote anti-colonial and anti-Zionist goals,” he said.
