University professor told qodsna that Israeli historians have considered the destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the building of the Third Temple as the goal of the Zionist leaders

On 51st anniversary of the arson attack on Al Aqsa mosque, Seyed Hadi Borhani, university professor and political affairs’ analyst told qodsna that the Zionists really have evil intentions about Al-Aqsa Mosque, and if they find this power and opportunity, they will destroy this mosque, which has a high and unique position in the Islamic world.

The issue of Palestine is important in all political, social and cultural aspects, but among all these issues, the issue of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque is of special importance, especially for Muslims, he added.

First of all, only two mosques are mentioned in the Holy Quran, one is Masjid al-Haram and the other is Al-Aqsa Mosque, which reminds us of the importance of this mosque. Dr Borhani noted.

“Secondly, the ascension place of the Prophet of Islam is located in al-Quds, precisely in Al-Aqsa Mosque”.

Third, in the history of Islam, Muslims have not fought for a mosque like Al-Aqsa Mosque with hostile parties. In fact, Al-Quds has a special center in the Islamic world for these reasons and it can be described as the heart of the Islamic world, the university professor said.

He warned that this al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque, with this glorious history, are now in real danger.

However, the Zionist media and their affiliated media are trying to make Muslims indifferent to this fact. They claim that the situation in Al-Aqsa Mosque is normal and people pray in it and the call to prayer is broadcast from it, but the reality is something else and a crime is underway against this mosque, a crime that is the prelude to the destruction of this mosque. We should have no doubt about this issue and the intention and goals of the Zionists for achieving it, Borhani noted.

He also went on to say that the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Quds have been occupied militarily since 1967, and this occupation continues today.

Secondly, the debate over the Judaization of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque has begun in the last 53 years since its occupation.

The university professor reiterates that Zionists claimed that they have no plan to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque, and all this is not true. Israeli academics and historians explain that the destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque is not a conspiracy theory. Meanwhile Israeli politicians also pointed out that in their statements they have clearly stated their desire and intention to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque. In fact, there is real evidence on the subject of the Zionists' aim to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque. Action is not a conspiracy theory at all and is a fundamental goal for the Zionists.
