Relations between the UAE and the Zionist regime is a new issue and has no history

Seyed Hadi Borhani university professor told qodnsa that Zionist regime tries to claim that is strong in the region and that all countries are friends with the regime.

Last Thursday evening, the news of the agreement between the UAE and the Zionist regime to fully normalize relations was at the top of the regional news. The timing of the agreement has raised speculation about its behind-the-scenes goals. Some see this as the only way to save Zionist regime’s Prime Minister Netanyahu from his current predicament in domestic, regional and even foreign affairs. Also, the numerous defeats of the Zionist regime in the face of the axis of resistance in recent years have caused Tel Aviv to do everything to achieve an achievement, to pull itself out of the current situation. Of course, some Hebrew sources have also reported that the agreement between the UAE and the Zionist regime was the result of decades of secret and behind-the-scenes relations that have now become public.

In an assessment of the UAE agreement with the Zionist regime in the field of full normalization of relations, Seyed Hadi Borhani, university professor and  political affairs’ analyst told qodsna that allegations about the history of UAE-Israel relations are mostly spread by the Zionists and are a deliberate move by Tel Aviv. Contrary to the claims of Hebrew sources, the relationship between Israel and the UAE is a new issue and has no history. By publishing such news, the Zionist regime tries to claim that it is strong in the region and that all countries are friends with it, while the real picture is very different from these claims.

The real picture that the Zionists are afraid of appearing is that all countries and all nations in the region are in conflict with the Zionist regime, he added.

The professor noted that what has led governments like Egypt, Jordan and the UAE to establish relations with Zionist regime has been pressured from the United States and the West that these governments have not been able to withstand.

Zionist regime has a major obstacle to legitimize itself, and that obstacle is that the countries of the region have never recognized the regime, Borhani noted., adding that they have put their biggest strategy in order to remove this obstacle, which unfortunately they have succeeded in to some extent, and so far they have included Egypt and Jordan, and the UAE is at the beginning of the road.

The Zionists are trying to make the UAE's action as a model for other countries in the region to create the impression that the region does not want a conflict with Israel and that the process is moving towards peace with them.
