West Asia's Regional
Geography & Culture
& Western Intervention

By: Alireza Arab

The Resistance Front which these days has expanded its activities throughout the region, relies on resistance basis, which has two dimensions: soft and civil, hard and military. Therefore, the front is fully capable of comprehensive, flexible, creative, dynamic new structures and is fully renewable.

In this way, the maximum capacity is activated over time in the combat process, and vulnerabilities and weaknesses are minimized.

Resistance Front is super patient, because it operates in an area where the geography and culture belong to itself, so the passage of time is mainly in favor of the resistance forces and from other hand its detriment to its hostiles.

In Iraq, as in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Afghanistan, etc., the resistance is fighting a crucial and very serious struggle with Western conspiracy normally led by the United States and Israel.

West and Zionism are also a culture, but in the West Asian region they are considered as arrogant occupying forces, coming from oversees to take over a geography and culture which does not belong to them.

For a long time, Americans and Israelis have been seriously studying the causes of the growth and expansion of the Islamic Revolution and its aftermath, the Islamic Resistance and the expansionof Resistance Front in the region, and have come to the conclusion that the best way to counter and curb Resistance Front is to take advantage of it. Strategies, tactics, mechanisms and tools are self-centered.

In recent years Israelis were able to convince Americans that Israel alone is not able to counter and control the Resistance Front from growing larger in the region. United States is truly convinced that they must intervene in the region in direct and non-direct confrontation against the Resistance Front, especially Islamic Republic of Iran.

Therefore, the US and Israel have now entered into confrontation to take control over the Resistance Front in the region in two dimensions: soft, civilian, hard and military, so that they can enhance their allies against the Resistance Front just the same way the Front successfully expanded in the region. With this strategy they intent to impose effective damage to the expansion of the Resistance Front.

Over the past years, the United States and Israel have chosen three major strategic countries, Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon, which are predominantly Shiite, as playgrounds against the Axis of Resistance, and estimate that if they succeed in winning the three geographies, they have broken the backbone of the Resistance.

But the West's way of dealing with resistance in the three geographies, as mentioned, has two complementary dimensions: military and civilian.

Over the past year, protesters have taken to the streets in Iraq to protest against economic and administrative corruption and inefficiency in governing the country.

The protests were initially a civilian movement to protest against corruption and inefficiency of administration, but later Americans managed to divert the flow of protests in the direction of their interests.

The Americans saw the start and continuation of the protests as a very good platform to shape their confrontation with the resistance groups, and pursued a campaign to counter the axis of resistance in two dimensions: soft, civilian, hard and military in the context of the current protests.

In this comprehensive campaign against the resistance groups, conceptualization, media advertising, the use of cyberspace and virtual networks, and finally the creation of international legitimacy against the resistance axis were put on their agenda so that they could maximize the pressure by using their capacities. Impose on existing Iraqi resistance groups.

The Americans' strategy was to deliberately undermine the Iraqi government so that it, as a powerful national government, would not be able to control and direct the protests in the interests of society.

Therefore, the Americans are constantly pressuring the Iraqi government under the pretext of "supporting the protests of the citizens and the protesting citizens," and they are continuously and continuously supporting the protests and riots and their continuation.

The Iraqi government is a government that has been democratically elected and put to work. The Iraqi political system is based on the siege and the division of power between ethnic and religious groups in a completely democratic way.

In other words, the Iraqi political system is a federal parliamentary system in which three ethnic and religious groups, Shia, Sunni and Kurdish, have a defined political share.

Therefore, the democratic government has democratic mechanisms to pursue citizenship claims through the ballot box and democratic institutions, and of course street protests are considered legitimate in this structure, but it certainly cannot be the only channel of reform and on the other hand the continuation of such protests. The circumvention of democratic mechanisms in the political structure is considered a clear symbol of the violation of the constitution and the rights of the majority of citizens.

Unfortunately, Americans have been staging street protests and riots in Iraq for nearly a year under the pretext of protecting protesters and protecting civil rights, and have deliberately undermined the rule of law and democracy in a way that even led to the resignation of the Prime Minister. They are strengthening and engineering law in Iraq, and in this regard, they are constantly asking the Iraqi government not to recognize and prevent the unrest, and to accept the legitimacy of the street unrest in some way.

Naturally, the next step for the Americans is to establish regional and international legitimacy for the continuation of these engineering protests and riots.

The Americans have used the same mechanism in the face of protests and unrest in Iran and Lebanon.

In this way, they constantly support the riots of November 1998 in Iran and the rioters in order to create international legitimacy for them. And in this regard, they benefit from the assistance of the United Nations and the European Union and their capacities.

In this case, too, the secret of the Americans is to hold early international elections free of charge and free from fraud.

Given the long process before, during and after the election, and the mechanisms for certifying candidates, confirming the election itself, the announcement of the results, and finally the process of forming a coalition government in countries like Iraq and Lebanon that will take at least two years. The Americans are thinking of creating a long-term platform for constant pressure and intervention and to bring in and support their ally forces in this long-term platform.

The so-called Free Elections, without fraud and under international scrutiny, has been hospitalized for at least two years to put pressure on the Iraqi government and strengthen secular civil society activists and interfere in the country's internal affairs in order to weaken the resistance forces and remove them from the structure. Provides political.

In fact, the ultimate goal of the Americans and Iraqi groups is to eliminate the unparalleled power of the Iraqi masses, all religious and religious, over the political, economic, social, military, and security structure of the country, and to replace the predominantly secular and pro-Western activists of civil society. Instead, the silence or inaction of the Shiite clergy and other religious and revolutionary sects will have a profound and profound effect on the history of the Shiites, the region and Iraq, and is an irreparable loss.

It should be noted that from another angle, Americans have been interested in creating a kind of dichotomy and polarization in the long run due to the different attitudes of the Iranian and Iraqi governments and, of course, the different positions and relations of Qom and Najaf with the riots and street protests. They are purposeful and intelligent between Iran and Iraq and comparing them in public opinion, and in their opinion, they are trying to create a new challenge for the Islamic Republic.

Given the above, now that the election of the Prime Minister in Iraq has reached a decisive stage and has nominated Barham Saleh, the President of Iraq, Mustafa Kazemi, as the Prime Minister to form a cabinet, the resistance groups must be vigilant and purposeful. Examine the credentials of political figures and be sensitive to them so that the national interests of Iraq are preserved in this critical situation and the resistance groups and the popular mobilization, which guarantee the promotion of Iraq's lasting authority and security, are strengthened.

For the first time, Mustafa al-Kazemi was seriously nominated as the prime ministerial candidate by Sayyid Ammar Hakim, but his election was canceled due to a lack of consensus. But now, with the agreement of a majority of major Shiite factions in parliament, he has been re-appointed by Saleh to form a cabinet.

Al-Kazemi has a very good and old relationship with the Americans and has good relations with the two main parties in the Iraqi Kurdistan region, the Patriotic Union and the Democratic Party. . He is a press figure and has long been working with Barham Saleh to publish Al-Basouieh magazine, which is known for its culture of tolerance, tolerance, coexistence, dialogue and non-violence.

Haidar al-Abadi was elected head of the Iraqi Security and Intelligence Agency on June 9, 2016, and should have the best relations with them, given the Americans' influence in the Iraqi intelligence service.

It should be noted that Mustafa al-Kazemi has been accused by some Iraqi Islamic Resistance groups of failing to carry out his duties in connection with the assassination of the commanders of Martyr Qasim Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes by US forces.

He is accused of failing to take the necessary steps to dissuade the Americans from carrying out this criminal terrorist operation. However, he himself claims that he was unaware of the assassination operation.

It should be noted that the possible interim government headed by Al-Kazemi must provide the necessary grounds and arrangements for holding early parliamentary elections and to run the country's affairs until the next prime minister is elected.

Therefore, considering the long and breathtaking process of holding elections in Iraq

It will then hold extensive consultations to elect the prime minister and form the cabinet of al-Kazemi's interim interim government for at least two years.

Now, due to the outbreak of the corona, the continuation of protests and street riots and the economic crisis, special conditions prevail in Iraq, so the interim government can take extensive measures under the pretext of the existence of special conditions.

All of the above, as well as the upcoming US presidential election in November, which could be a major setback for Trump, should be considered by resistance groups in Iraq so that the strategic position of Iraqi Prime Minister is given to the right person and the situation in Iraq is resolved. .
