Osama Hamdan, director of international affairs of Hamas in an interview with Qods News Agency (Qodsna) said: “We have repeatedly said that those who ultimately determine the fate of the Palestinian people will be Palestinians themselves, not others.  In the Palestine Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) we fully support proposed referendum suggestion by the Supreme Leader.”

Osama Hamdan, member of the Hamas political office and international relations director of the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement, in an exclusive interview with the correspondent of the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) on the sidelines of the thirty-second Islamic Unity Conference emphasized: “first of all, I must emphasize that the latest victory was not limited to the Palestinian resistance, but it was also a victory for Iran and Hezbollah.”

“I believe that the victory of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza was, in fact, a victory for resistance axis against Zionist regime and the American domination in the region.” he added.

Member of the Hamas political office said: “I believe this victory was the result of the accumulation of previous achievements of the resistance axis and on gods will, there will be more achievements in future.”

Hamdan pointed out two major facts in the recent Palestinian resistance victory: “The first issue is that the victory has proved is that resistance is the most appropriate option in dealing with the occupation regime of Jerusalem, and the only option that can achieve victory. The second important point is that these developments made it clear that the Zionist regime is weaker than many think. Unfortunately, some think that by normalizing relationship with the Zionist regime they will guarantee the survival of their regime. But these rulers think illusionary because the Zionist regime is not capable of protecting itself.”

Regarding the announcement of Netanyahu’s next destination in Bahrain Hamdan said: Hamas is completely against any normalization of relations with the Zionist regime, and those who think this process of normalization of relations is in their favor eventually they will realize that this action will turn against them and that moment they would not be able to escape the consequences."
