Iran’s Missile Industry And it’s Father

An expert on West Asian issues in an interview with the reporter of Qods News Agency (Qodsna); discussed the role of the martyr Hassan Tehrani Moghadam in the advancement of the country's missile defense industry and its impact on regional developments.

Seyed Hadi Seyyed Afghahi, an expert on West Asian issues in an interview with the reporter of the Qods News Agency (Qodsna); about the role of the martyr Hassan Tehrani Moghadam in the advancement of the country's missile defense industry and its impact on regional equations said: “Every country have special military and security strategies to defend their independence and freedom.”

The West Asian expert said the missile was actually a strategic weapon. After the downfall of the Nazis in World War II, Germany and its allies were deprived of two strategic weapons, fighter planes and ballistic missiles, and they have no right to use these weapons to this day.

"The missile is not a tactical weapon for our country, but a strategic, defensive and deterrent weapon," he said. During the Shah era, our air force was equipped with F4, F5, F14 and other American aircrafts, and they did not allow the Iranian Army to have a variety of weapons.

Seyed Hadi Seyyed Afghahi said: “After the glorious revolution of the Iranian people, pressures increased and led to sanctions, and manufactories were banned to sale military aircrafts to Iran.

From other point of view our approach is a defensive approach, so the missile development plan was called upon by the Supreme Leader, despite all the sanctions that targeted our country by God’s mercy, the martyr Major General Hassan Tehrani took the first step to bring developments to the country's missile industry.

The expert on West Asian issues continued: The country's defense and missile system owes its developments to martyr Tehrani Moghaddam and his team.

Hadi Seyyed Afghahi said: “The missile capability of the Islamic Republic of Iran has taken away sleep from the enemy." The weakening of the country's missile industry was a strategic issue on the agenda of the enemy to raise the issue of diplomatic talks during the nuclear negotiations, but the vigilance and intelligence of the Supreme Leader and the authorities mentioned that the defense industry is our red line and it will not be negotiated. Everyone realized that after the nuclear issue, the negotiator parties will start to target Iran's missile industry, they intent to shut down the strategic industries of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The missile issues of the country as a strategic issue are by no means negotiable in any forum.”
