Palestinian man martyred as Israeli troops fire on Gaza protest
One Palestinian was martyred and dozens other wounded when Zionist regime’s forces opened fire during a protest near the Occupied Territories-Gaza border on Sunday, officials in Gaza said.
According to Press TV, an Israeli army spokesman said “hundreds of rioters and demonstrators” had gathered along the border.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said one Palestinian was shot and martyred and 20 others wounded. The man that has attained martyrdom belonged to a group that tries to distract Israeli soldiers with burning tires and firecrackers, medical officials said.
Since Gazans began holding weekly border protests on March 30, the Israeli army has martyred 184 Palestinians and wounded thousands.
