Palestinian culture week starts in Rome

To mark the 70th anniversary of the Nakba (catastrophe in Arabic) the Palestinian embassy in Italy and the Palestinian community in Rome and Lazio are organizing the Palestinian cultural week on May 14-20.

The events scheduled include: on Wednesday, May 16, starting at 6 pm at the Institut Franais - Centre Saint Louis in Rome, the screening of: Meeting with a lost land by Maryse Gargour; Space the alleys by Hamdi Alhourb and High Hopes by Guy Davidi.

A Palestinian craft exhibit is scheduled from Friday to Sunday.
