Time to move forward
from defensive position

Supreme Leader Seyed Ali Khamenei in a letter written back to Hamas official Esmaeel Haniyeh who congragulated supreme leader for the arrival of Iranian new year, once again emphasized Iran’s full support to Palestinian cause and also emphasized on the necessity of changing strategies in encountering arena’s with the Zionist enemy, to move forward from defensive positioning to offensive in all official and nonofficial arenas. In this regard there are several issues to mention:

The letter starts with Verse 104 of Surah Nisa in which it refers to battle traumas caused by lack of wisdom and comprehensive look at developments. The Zionist enemy considers the spirit of resistance and struggle to occupation as a threat to its existence and tries to overcome the situation by both forcing a desperate feeling to Palestinians on achieving victory and inducting a flimsy morale to Islamic world to avoid them making effective effort for their duty regarding Palestinian cause. But while the Palestinian nation is on a struggle and the Islamic world suffers from the Betrayal of some leaders, our enemy is also in a harsh situation. As a matter of fact that the western societies including US mention talks such as “the deal of the century” and the treason of some Arab state following Trumps order to normalize relationship with Israel shows signs of weaknesses that they are stuck in such harsh situation.

The Takfiri insurgency in Iraq and Syria has reached to the very end of it, and this means that the resistance front has reached successful achievement and is currently in a determinant situation and this threatens the existence of Zionist regime and it’s traitor dependent Arab regimes and from the other hand it’s a great obstacle to America’s hegemonic definitions in Islamic Societies. On these regards the enemy is in a very harsh situation. The rise of pressures and political, media and even military movements in the region from the enemy actually points to the concerns and desperate situation ruling over them.

Currently there are traitor movements both in Islamic world and inside Palestinian nation and some other individuals and nations have remained silent against their treason. It’s only Iran which is fully supporting Palestinians nation both in government and its people. In this regard the supreme leader mentioned Surah Alnisa which points to weaknesses in the battle against the enemies and urged resistance movements to move forward from defensive position to offensive position because only offensive fight is capable of freeing Palestine from its current situation. This is what Imam Khomeini has suggested earlier that the freedom of Palestine can be only achieved through the Faithful machineguns of Islamic youth.
