Naser Qandil: Trump’s decision on al-Quds was America’s decision

As reported by Qods News Agency (Qodsna), Naser Qandil an expert and analyzer of west Asia, attended a media conference in the headquarters of Qods News Agency and the Society for the defense of Palestinian people today 18th February 2018.

Naser Qandil an expert and analyzer of west Asia in a media conference held at the headquarters of Qods News Agency and Society for the Defense of Palestinian People, in Tehran titled as ‘The Confrontation of Resistance and Israel’ mentioned the dimension of Trump’s decision on al-Quds and the overthrow of Israeli fighter jet in Syria.

Naser Qandil started his speech by mentioning Trump’s controversial decision over the status of al-Quds and said: “Trump’s decision was not one man show, some analysts think that Trump has taken this decision insanely by himself and other decision makers in America were against it, this is not true all the decision makers in America were behind these decision and in a long term they have been setting a schedule over it.”

He supported his remarks by pointing at the 1965 agreement in the UN and mentioned that the agreement did not allow any American president as a mediator to make a change in the status of al-Quds.

He added: “before this controversial decision, we could witness that resistance groups were engaged in battles conducted by America, and the consecutive victories by resistance groups made them stronger than before.”

He continued: “due to major victories by resistance movements the role of Saudia Arabia in the region was deemed more than ever, and that made the Americans to consider, because in the earlier stages of Syrian conflict the American-Turkish cooperation failed to avoid resistance movements from achieving victories city to city in Syria and Turkish backed terrorist groups failed the coalition.”
