As reported by Qods News Agency (Qodsna), Dr. Zagra Mostafawi at the opening ceremony of the Society for defense of Palestinian People office in Ahvaz said: Today America in cooperation with Saudi Arabia, are trying to force the Palestinians to surrender completely. In such a situation, there is no other way than resistance to oppression and force, and here we can notice the wisdom of Imam Khomeini and the supreme leader about the necessity of resistance.

Dr. Zahra Mostafavi Secretary-General and Head of Society for defense of Palestinian People, at the opening ceremony of the Society for defense of Palestinian People office in Ahvaz while welcoming the guests and the attendees emphasized: “Your attendance at this ceremony is a relief to the hearts of the Palestinian people and I thank the prominent governor and also the prominent secretary of Society for defense of Palestinian People in Khouzestan, Mr. Reza Davoodi, who is one of the advocates of the Palestinian issue and accepted this heavy responsibility, and I am sure that the young generation of Khuzestan province will do their best to accompany them, and that they will all help to stand by this oppressed nation together.”

She added that: “I still remember that from the initial days of the victory of Islamic revolution, Imam Khomeini emphasized that the only way to end the occupation is through resistance and peace talks will not have any results, and so does the supreme leader’s suggestions say.”

She continued: “today we are all witnessing that more than 40 years has passed from Oslo agreement and everyone is now assured that 25 years of so-called peace talks with the infant killer regime were absurd, this situation even got worse by Trump coming to power, and has left the so-called peace talks with no other option but a dead end. Trump closed his eyes to historical facts and dedicated al-Quds to the Zionist regime and recognized the holy city as Israel’s capital. In nearby future he is planning to recognize Israel as a Jewish state which will deny the right of return of seven million Palestinian refugees, and it will make another 2 million Palestinian homeless in the occupied territories of 1948.

She added: “Today the United States attempts cooperation with Saudi Arabia to force Palestinians into a full surrender. In such a situation there is no other option but resistance against arrogance and tyranny. At this stage we can notice that remarkable remarks of Imam Khomeini and the supreme leader were wise to suggest that resistance is the only option. In fact Iran has long declared that it will support any resistance efforts against the Zionist regime and it will continue to support resistance by all means and facilities necessary.”

The Secretary-General and Head of Society for defense of Palestinian People added: “dear attendees the presence of the Zionist Regime in the Heart of Islamic World, has stablished an obstacle to the unity of Islamic countries. Fundamentally the West domination regime attempted to avoid further Islamic unities by creating the Zionist regime in the center of connection of three continents of Asi, Africa and Europe, so that it becomes an obstacle to the creation of a modern Islamic civilization, that can prevent any potential threat to West. The organic relationship between the Zionist regime and the West over the past seventy years, and the supportive support among them, is also based on this colonial basis.
